Bow Ties I made for the boys using the tutorial from HERE!

Stations Of the Cross

Today we started coloring our Stations of the Cross book. Each child will color a page for each station and at the end we will make a book out of our coloring pages. I've have the images for a year or two so i don't know where I got them from but if you just google "Stations of the Cross coloring" you should find something suitable.

After the kids colored the 1st station (well mommy colored one for V since he was napping)
I had the kids cut out their pages and glue them onto construction paper.
** One is missing because D was being hard headed and didn't want to do it.

Does anyone else have this problem with their lefty's? Our 4 yr old writes in mirror image. The first image is his name written on the back of his stations page, the second is after I flipped it in photoshop, now you can read it.. lol

Welcome Spring..

and day two was a little more of a challenge then yesterday.  But we got threw it!

P (4 yr old) got his Pre-K book today! He was thrilled and as soon as he got home from pre-school he HAD to do his worksheets.

Had D (6 yr old) that didn't want to do ANYTHING, so we had a tough day today!

And  T (9 yr old) is just my hard worker!

First Day of school - St. Joseph's Day

Today was our first official day homeschooling again. Yes it is March 19, 2012...

Our oldest children 6 & 9 spent the first 100 or so days in public school which was nothing but learning bad habits, learning how not to be a family, and tons of other things that we just were not fond of. So we made the decision to pull the kids out, and start re-schooling them.

To my surprise they were super excited as well as a little let down that they were not going to see their friends.

While the older kids did their work books the younger ones played on their white boards.
We also learned about St. Joseph, and made an altar to surprise daddy with and to celebrate his feast day.

Happy Feast Day!
