About Us

Hi there this is the Kauffman Family..
I am a Traditional Catholic mom, with a wonderful husband of 10 years, and 4 precious children! Homeschooling has been a part of our lives from the beginning. I can honestly say that I truly love that I have the option to have our kids around all day, and that my husband and I can be the primary influence in their lives in matters both educational and social.

About our students:
First we have T. She’s the my first born and only girl, 9 1/2 years old and ever quickly blossoming into a caring, loving young lady and currently in 4th Grade. Always eager to please, she is very much our rock; also she is our Artist and she loves to embrace her imagination through art and writing and her blossoming devotions in music and dance.

Next we have D.  He’s my second born, 6 years old and currently in the K/1st Grade. Of the 4 he has most definitely the most intense--rather, most passionate personality. Like most boys his age he has a passion for the Mario Brothers, Ninja Turtles and Star Wars; loves to color and play the Wii.

Next is P, he is my 3rd born and 4 yrs old. He goes to preschool and loves it there.. He is very much a BOY, loves to run, play and get dirty. He has the energy of Sonic, which is unfortunate since the rest of us usually do not.  A sweet, loving, silly boy, P is our comedian: always diffusing the typical household tension by trying to make us laugh.  He is loud enough when he's being his silly, but quiet as a lamb when serious or when contemplative.

Last but not least is V, our 2 yr old, the boy of 1,000 faces. He has decided that he can do everything everyone else can, age and height is no object to him. But he is a total Mama's boy (except when he's Daddy's boy) and LOVES his yellow blanket.

We've told each child, as another sibling entered their lives, that he will find his older sister and brother(s) to be the greatest people on earth.  And, I'll be darned if that hasn't always been true.  Sure there are the occasional spats and rivalries like any other households, but they never seem to last the day.
